Integrity Air Services was established in 1987 by Phillip A. Cannavo and two other partners. After reverse engineering one ARC 400 series Power Amplifier and Nav/Com Synthesizer he gained the approval of the Connecticut Flight Standards District Office and, in the basement of his own home, began the overhaul and repair of these components for the general aviation community. A second module was added about the same time. By 1991 he had become the sole owner of Integrity Air Services, Inc. (IAS)
In 1989 the business was moved to the Westerly, RI State Airport where it continued to grow and expand into other areas of aviation radio and instrument classifications. Gaining FAA approval, IAS was granted Radio I, II, III, Limited Airframe and Instruments I, III, & IV class ratings. In addition to the module repair and overhaul business, Avionics Sales and Installation became a strong arm for the company, enabling IAS to launch into other areas of the aviation industry such as the servicing of military aircraft instrumentation, components from various military radios, and other miscellaneous parts and modules.
In 1994 IAS won its first government contract from Warner-Robins Air Force Base, and has since enjoyed great success satisfying various government agencies which have in turn commended IAS with some of the highest awards for quality service and on time delivery. Fast turn around time coupled with a very low rate of warranty repairs continue to make IAS a preferred choice for our customers.
