Integrity Comfort Solutions Sends Cookies to Military Brothers
At Integrity Comfort Solutions, we like to take advantage of opportunities to get involved in the communities we live in, work in, and love! By actively participating in community events, we get to know our neighbors, learn new things, and support worthy causes.
The Woodlands Online is a website dedicated to covering news, jobs, sports, and other events that happen in The Woodlands, Texas. The website covers everything from area high-school athletics, to resume tips to the community.
Recently, The Woodlands Online featured an article on Integrity Comfort Solutions and how they sent cookies to military brothers.
The company decided to pay back several members of its community by donating $520 worth of girl scout cookies to four brothers who are all currently serving in the military.
Gage, Zane, Skyler, and Sean Mullis are members of the Navy, Marines, Navy, and Air Force, respectively.
They were gifted with 130 boxes of cookies to share between them and with their brothers in arms.
Integrity Comfort Solutions General Manager, Johnny Kerr, served in the U.S. Air Force, along with a large portion of the company.
62 percent of their field workers and 23 percent of their office workers served in the military, so they pounced on the opportunity to give back to fellow service members.
Their selfless donation gave the brothers a generous gift, while at the same time helping a local Girl Scout Troop to reach its fundraising goal.
This act of generosity is what earned the company a feature in The Woodlands Online.
The Pink 5K
We were proud to have the chance to sponsor a water station at the Pink 5K in Creekside Park in The Woodlands, TX. The Pink 5K was a great opportunity to join other community members in honoring survivors and supporting the fight against breast cancer. The Integrity team manned a water station on the race pathway and set up a booth in the warm-up area to hand out neck coolers (which were in high demand). We also were excited to have one of our very own, Stacey Curry, run the 5K for team Integrity!
The Pink 5K raises money for the Breast Cancer Charities of America. Through these charities, services that focus on breast cancer prevention, education, research, support, and survival are made possible.
